Petco-  $113.18 Dog treats, Dog snacks and DH hobby. He paid me back ~$40 so I'll save that for cash for next week.

Lunch out $20.00 had a coupon

Computer gaming $41.97 been trying to save up the monthly amount for these each pay period so when it comes out I have the money in savings.

$40 for cash for spending for the week for dh & myself.

I haven't had time to go to the bank to get cash for our jars so I just got cash while we were at the grocery store for DH & myself. I still have to fill the rest of the jars but it will have to wait until next week sometime.

January 18th- No Spend Day :-)

January 19th- Payday I paid bills,
Mortgage, Electricity, Gas, Debt Bills, and set aside the money for jars for the next two weeks.

We don't have to get gas in the car it's still nearly full so were good to go there, car number 2 has gas but I'm not sure how much, and if it will last until next week but I'm hoping it will.

I'm going to be doing a very, very big deep house clean over the next few days I have lofty goals to get my house in tip-top shape including getting rid of alot of "stuff" we have just lying around.

I hope the weather cooperates with my lofty goals...

Monday January 16 Spending

We spent ~$45.00 at the grocey store, we again used cash from our jars for this so it had already been removed from the checking account. We work Tuesday and Wednesday which will make a no spend two days also but I'll update those days when they get here.

Saturday & Sunday Spending

We had no spend days on both saturday and sunday. We do not count money we get as personal spending money every week in our spending as this is free money to do with whatever we want each week.

$220.00 to replace cash in our jars for the week, we had already gotten gas in both vehicles so we didn't need to take gas money out this week.

I left the gas for 2nd car blank since my DH is getting gas now and I'll update it when he gets back. This will use up our gas funds for the next week but both cars will have full tanks and we don't have to go anywhere but work and the grocery store.

Today we spent $15.74 on junk food. We're happy because usually we spent way more then this each week so for us this is a big save.

Paid Cell Phone bill $163.92.

We do need to get gas in both cars so I know we'll spend more because of this..

Today I spent ~$5.00 but I used my personal money to buy some soda and other stuff.
I also had a direct  debit for $10.79 for a book I preordered and completely forgot about.. Shows you how long ago I ordered this book!

We spent $12.00 on ice cream but I used my personal blow money so I'm not counting it in our total spending. ~PBMFMM

Check in the mail

Yesterday I received a check in the mail for an over charge to one of my children's dentists so being the great personal finance person I am I applied that to our snowball jar so it now is at $220.16 not bad for one month of money.. Now if I can just get a little bit more I can pay off a medical bill we have and that will put us 3 months ahead of schedule.

Paid $230 half of car payment, $1.08 for a sweet tea, $13.00 for lunch and volunteered to pick up two extra days at work, here's hoping for some OT…

Today is payday so I have paid quite a few bills totaling $1392.04

Our paychecks total was $2567.65

I have not removed money for jars for the next two weeks and I still have a couple of bills I'm waiting for to be paid so there won't be very much left when that happens.

Included in this were about $210.00 of medical bills that needed to be paid after insurance paid there portion..

Extra Money

In the mail Saturday I got a check from a BOA settlement not sure what its for but I did used to have a BOA account along time ago, don't particularly like them now so I have a credit union account now. Buuut free money is free money I'll use this to jump start my snowflake jar and cash it on my next day off I think I need to make a snowflake account somewhere wonder which online bank I should use..

Yes, it's big for a reason, maybe then I will make sure and do exactly what I say. Today is our start fresh day. We have any money we have left over set up in a budgeting program so we can be very aware of what we spend, the hard part will be tracking spending every day.
Now the other hard part will be taking lunch to work at least 2 times a week, for me this is not an issue but for DH it must be frozen meals from the store or he well "whines a lot" which usually happens since I refuse to buy them unless they are on sale. I told him to make a sandwich like I do but he again "whines" I don't like sandwiches for dinner and I usually reply then find something else no money for frozen meals unless you use your weekly spending money.
