So I have about 600.00 left over from vacation and my paycheck I do still have to take out some money for Christmas presents, but I'd like to try to keep 500.00 extra in savings I'm trying a new idea with my paychecks and transferring to savings any money over the allotted amount I need each month for bills, because I'm hoping that if its out of checking and in savings I won't spend it. I figure it's worth a try and I can hopefully build up some money in savings and take out lump sums to apply to debt when I hit a certain amount, an amount I actually haven't decided on yet, so I'll have to save that for another post.
